Inside Do Not Let the Fire Go Out — Chapters 1–3
“Before the fire could spread, it had to be lit.”
I’m Khotso Shadrack Modibola, Operations Manager in Logistics and author of Do Not Let the Fire Go Out — a memoir about pain, purpose, and healing.
In the opening chapters, I take you back to Botshabelo, Free State, where I was raised by a praying mother and a truck-driving father. Our home was full of love — but also marked by silent pain.
My father taught me strength, but he also left scars.
At school, I smiled.
At home, I hid bruises.
Church became my refuge.
God gave me the strength to keep going.
These first chapters are raw, real, and filled with moments that shaped me into the man I’ve become. It’s not just my life story — it’s a message of hope for anyone still living in silence, fighting invisible battles.
This book is for you if you’ve ever had to:
- Smile through pain
- Lead through brokenness
- Protect a small flame of hope
Your story matters. Your fire can still burn.
